As a quick reminder, the Auto Smart Sites script is only available as a “One Time Offer” when you buy Neil’s Passive Cashflow Secrets videos, which is an excellent product in itself, I use many of the techniques shown in the videos to make a good passive cashflow in my own business.

Back in Sept I set up half a dozen sites using Neil’s script, which took me about 2-3 hours to get them all up and running and loaded with enough content for a month or so.

I then added some more articles at the start of November to last another month and I haven’t touched them since, so they’ve not actually been growing for over 6 weeks, and yet the AdSense income from them is still increasing.

The domains I used had originally been used as sites before, so they were indexed in Google with a few backlinks pointing to them from some directory submissions, but I have done ZERO work on them other than the original set up and adding articles, so in total I have spent less than 4 hours work on them and got no new backlinks to promote them.

The results?

Sites set up on Sept 18th

AdSense Earnings:

Oct ’07 = $30.01
Nov ’07 = $100.97
Dec ’07 = $124.86
1st to 20th of Jan ’08 = $96.34,
which means the total for Jan should be close to $150

this gives a total of over $400 and building for 3-4 hours work..

all 6 of the sites are showing almost every single page indexed in Google.

Passive Cashflow Secrets

I’ve now been testing this system for over 6 weeks on numerous sites and blogs of my own with great success, and we now have some other large site owners beta testing for us and it’s all looking very good.

In fact I was surprised by just how many attempts to scrape some of my sites there have been!

This tool also has the added advantage of being able to block unwanted spiders and bots (like the huge Chinese SE Baiduspider) from sucking your sites bandwidth…

To be fair, it’s not a new system, I did a bit of digging and it’s actually been around for over two years, it’s just getting a lot of news now as it’s being backed by a big search engine partner.

the basic idea is you add a bit of code to your site and when a new visitor lands on any page with that code they get played a 5 second audio advert.

the important bit is that you get paid for every visiter to your site.

I’ve signed up, but I can’t start testing it out yet as the code to put on my websites won’t be available for another week, although why that should be if the program is over 2 years old is not clear.

I’ll be posting results of the test here as soon as I’ve had the code running for a couple of weeks to see how people react, although the program doesn’t officially open until next year, sot they won’t be making any payments until then, but I’m interested to see whether it irritates site visitors and makes them click away.

It’s also going to be interesting to see what happens when the “black hat brigade” get hold of this and start adding it to MFA (made for adsense) site networks, that could potentially push the payment value for each “play/visitor” down so far that it’s not worth while, we shall have to wait and see.

The program is probably going to get pushed a lot over the next few weeks by many of the “big name” internet marketers as it offers referral commissions 2 levels deep, so the more people that sign up under you, the more chance you have for some nice residual income…

As it’s been a month or so I thought I better go and check it out and see how well it’s done for me.

I’m happy to say it’s doing pretty darned fine!

The total AdSense earnings from the sites I set up with this tool for October were just over $30 and over $90 for november, which is pretty respectable considering the sites have only been running for 2 months and should still do better in the coming months.

I haven’t done any promotion for these sites, no backlinks or anything, although they were already indexed by google when I set them up.

The highest trafficed site out of all 7 that I set up is now getting over 1,700 unique hits per month and is visited by googlebot and yahoo slurp every day.

Summary: about 3-4 hours work to set up the sites has brought in over $120, take of the domain and hosting costs and I’m around $50 in profit after just two months, giving me an hourly return of around $12.50.this figure should start to rise dramatically over the next few months as the setup costs are now taken care of.

All in all I would consider that to be a success and that Neil’s Passive Cashflow Systems is well worth the investment.

I no longer use such tools and have no intention of going back to “the dark side” (Black Hat SEO) and I now find “the shoe on the other foot” as it were, as I’m interested in finding ways of protecting my own sites and valuable web copy from the black hat scraper systems out there.

I did some searching on the net for a suitable tool, but it seems the best option available is stuff like CopyScape, which simply lets you know once it has happened. There don’t seem to be any viable options for actively protecting your sites, so…

I had a chat with a business partner of mine who has a kick ass programmer at his disposal to see if he could come up with something to do the job.

Long story short, I now have the system installed on some of my article sites and blogs to test it out and see how effective it is.

Part of the beauty of this script is that you can feed it any number of PLR articles in one go and just let it get on with adding them automatically on the time scale you’ve chosen, every hour in my case.

I happen to have enough PLR articles sat on my hard disk gathering dust that I could put a lot in straight away to keep it going at an article every hour for the next few weeks. Once it gets up to 300+ articles I may well pull the posting back down a notch.

So far I’m more than happy with the results from this script, especially considering how little time and effort it took to get the first site up and running. It’s so quick and easy that I’ve made another 8 of them since…

Yesterday I spent a hour or so setting up a couple of sites and it was so easy I’ve got another half dozen planned over the next couple of days…

This script is from a well known long standing (he started making money online back in 1998) internet marketer who knows his stuff and is totally “White Hat”, so these sites will not get your adsense account banned (imho, and his).

The script uses private label articles to build real article directories automatically. Once the site is set up, which take less than 30 mins, you just up load a bunch of articles once a month (or whenever you want) and it automatically posts and categorizes the articles for you on a pre-defined schedule that you decide.

The two sites I set up yesterday now have 35 and 41 articles posted to them, I’ve not checked the adsense stats yet, but I will do in a few days and post some results.

I admit that I’ve used domains that previously had joomla article sites on them, so they have PR and are indexed, which should speed up them getting indexed, having traffic and making money, but I figured that’s the quickest way of finding out if this really works well, as the only back links these sites have are from a directory submission tool that I’ve used.

it’s cool because you only pay once and you can use it for as many sites as you want, and it will usually (depending on the subject of your site) get 200-300 backlinks for your site with just five minutes work, although obviously the links will take a few weeks to all show up.

I’ll post an update with some results as soon as I have them, as well as a link to the product when it’s released.

Ok, maybe it was a major spanner in the works, Google closed down my AdSense accounts.

The main one was closed down for fair reason, I still had some old scraped content sites on the account and they found them, they’ve been having a clamp down on this kind of crappy auto generated site recently and I hadn’t been quick enough to remove all the old sites I built a couple of years ago.

The problem was that they also closed down the account for another seperate Limited company of mine that only had white hat sites on it simply becauseI was the contact person for both, and Google being “all powerful”, won’t enter in to any discussion on the matter.

Now I have managed to do something about it, I know someone else who has a “spare” adsense account that they weren’t using, as they don’t “do” AdSense, so I’ve been slowly adding AdSense back on to just the best white hat (Super Affiliate) adsense sites, but I’m doing it slowly to make sure I don’t raise any red flags.

The account is back up to $15+ per day with just three sites on it, so I’ll post an update once I’ve got things back up to speed, although it may take a while, as my business is now primarily focused on internet, affiliate and email marketing, for the simple reason that I don’t want to rely on much income from a source that can be closed down so easily without any recourse…

Moral of the story: if you want to make moeny with AdSense, stick with White hat sites, don’t scrap content under any circumstance!

It could be the markets, although rugs/carpets, household/bathroom and Films/movies are all markets that have done well for me with AdSense, and I’ll probaby be going back to AdSense for these sites.

They take longer to set up as they are not as “context sensitive” as AdSense.

You can put in some keywords for the ads, but they seem better if you put in keywords that are specific to the subject of the page they’re on, so they’re certainly not as quick and easy to set up as AdSense, but they could be a viable alternative/addition.

They’re based on showing auctions from ebay, so it’s basically the ebay affiliate program that it’s using.

I’ve added the ads to thwo sites that are reasonably mature and get some traffic, so I should have an idea of how well they perform in a week or so and I’ll be posting the results here as usual..
